Location
Limerick City The city of Limerick was granted its charter in 1198 and is steeped in history with its many ancient buildings including King John's Castle and the Hunt Museum, which houses a superb art and historical collection. The city also has some of the finest Georgian architecture in Ireland. Shannon Region The University is centred in the picturesque Shannon Region in the mid-west of Ireland. The region boasts many visitor attractions including the Cliffs of Moher and the spectacular Burren area of County Clare. The campus is an ideal base from which to explore the Ring of Kerry, Dingle Peninsula and many other breathtaking sites in the west of Ireland.
